Overview

On 175 acres of mountain forest land, with its pine and slate floors, 85-foot fireplace, and views of the Columbia River Gorge, Skamania Lodge Resort in southwestern Washington State perfectly combines the rustic with the elegant. Although built in 1993, the lodge was designed to mimic the architectural charm of the great Cascadian lodges built at the turn of the twentieth century. Constructed by a partnership between private and public entities, Skamania Lodge offers guests 254 guest rooms, several dining choices, an 18-hole golf course, comprehensive fitness center, and access to area hiking trails.

Reach Skamania Lodge from Hood River by taking Interstate 84 West to Exit 44 at Cascade Locks. Take Bridge of the Gods across the Columbia River and turn east on Highway 14 (Lewis & Clark Highway). Drive about 1-1/4 miles into Stevenson and turn left onto Rock Creek Drive, then a quick left onto Skamania Lodge Way.
