Overview
If you’ve never tried an Alpine Slide, a trip to Oregon is a good time to start. This exhilarating activity is one of the best ways to enjoy Mt. Hood, Oregon’s tallest peak, in the summertime. Riders take a chairlift up the mountain’s slopes and then hop aboard the dual-passenger Alpine Slide (or sled with wheels) that jets down a full half-mile concrete run complete with twists, turns, and plenty of g-force as the Slide gains speed on its downward journey. This thrilling ride is sure to get the whole family begging for more.
